Power Up with Protein: Eating Right for Muscle Strength

Tuesday, July 13th, 2026  10:00 am - 11:00 am (EDT)

Practical, evidence-based strategies to boost protein and fiber intake for muscle health, using whole foods that fit your lifestyle.

This workshop dives into the essential role of protein in supporting muscle health, with a focus on practical, evidence-based nutrition strategies that can be woven into everyday life. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of current guidelines for protein-rich foods and leave with actionable ways to increase both protein and fiber intake — whether through simple meal adjustments or smarter food choices throughout the day. The session also takes a well-rounded look at the full spectrum of whole food protein sources, comparing dairy and animal-based options alongside plant-based and non-dairy alternatives, so attendees can find approaches that align with their personal preferences, health needs, and dietary values.

Participants will:
  • Identify nutrition guidelines for protein-rich foods that support muscle health.
  • Apply practical strategies to increase protein and fiber intake.
  • Compare whole food protein options such as dairy, non-dairy, plant based and animal based sources
