What you eat today may shape how clearly you think tomorrow. Join us for an engaging one-hour virtual workshop exploring the powerful connection between nutrition and brain health — and what the latest research tells us about protecting cognitive function as we age. We'll explore dietary patterns, nutrients, and lifestyle habits that support a sharper, healthier mind, including research-informed tips from approaches such as the MIND Diet, a groundbreaking eating plan developed by Dr. Martha Clare Morris at Rush University Medical Center, specifically designed to reduce the risk of cognitive decline. From brain-nourishing foods to everyday habits that support mental clarity, you'll receive practical, realistic guidance designed for seniors and the families who support them. Topics Include:
The Brain-Food Connection — understanding how nutrition directly impacts cognitive health and the role of inflammation
Key Nutrients and Foods for Brain Health — what to embrace and what to limit for optimal mental clarity
Lifestyle Habits That Support Brain Health — hydration, sleep, movement, and social connection
Individuals and caregivers will leave with simple, actionable steps you can begin incorporating immediately. Because investing in brain health isn't just about living longer — it's about living well.
