Sleep and Nutrition: How Diet Choices Can Improve Your Rest

Tuesday, February 10th, 2026  2:00 pm - 3:00 pm (EST)

Discover the powerful connection between what you eat and how well you sleep in this engaging 50-minute workshop. You'll explore the science behind sleep and nutrition, learning how key nutrients like tryptophan and magnesium can enhance your rest, while understanding why caffeine, alcohol, and heavy meals can disrupt sleep cycles. Through interactive discussions and practical strategies, you'll master the art of meal timing with the 3-2-1 rule, discover sleep-promoting foods like tart cherries and walnuts, and learn to avoid common dietary pitfalls that keep you tossing and turning. Whether you're struggling to fall or stay asleep, or want to optimize your rest, this workshop provides evidence-based tools and actionable meal-planning strategies you can implement immediately to transform your nights and energize your days.

Topics Include:
  • Understand the food-sleep connection
  • Identify foods and nutrients that promote or disrupt sleep
  • Create an eating schedule that supports sleep goals
  • Make informed choices about evening meals and snacks
