Join us for this empowering virtual workshop designed to help older adults and their caregivers discover safe, effective ways to incorporate movement into daily routines. This interactive session addresses the unique physical challenges seniors face and provides practical solutions to maintain mobility, strength, and independence.
Participants will learn evidence-based exercises that can be adapted for various ability levels, from chair-based movements to gentle walking programs. We'll explore how regular physical activity improves balance, reduces fall risk, enhances cognitive function, and boosts mood and energy levels.
Family and professional caregivers will gain valuable insights into motivating seniors, creating supportive exercise environments, and recognizing appropriate activity levels. The workshop includes demonstrations of simple exercises, safety considerations, and strategies for overcoming common barriers to movement. Whether you're a senior looking to stay active or a caregiver supporting someone's wellness journey, you'll leave with actionable tools to promote healthier, more active aging through enjoyable movement practices.
